Aspiring Member of Parliament for North Mugirango, Isaac Atebe, has expressed strong confidence in the Jubilee Party’s efforts to rebuild, affirming that the political outfit is steadily reorganising for a formidable comeback in the 2027 general election.

Speaking on Monday at the Jubilee Party headquarters in Nairobi, Atebe underscored that the party remains firmly under the leadership of former President Uhuru Kenyatta. He maintained that the former Head of State retains full authority to comment on party affairs and offer direction on its future.

Atebe also came to Uhuru’s defence over his recent remarks, noting that the former president had called on supporters to remain loyal and committed to the party’s revival agenda. According to Atebe, Jubilee is gradually regaining its footing and positioning itself as a strong contender for leadership in the next government.

He dismissed criticism surrounding Uhuru’s continued presence in active politics, arguing that the former president is well within his rights to engage, express his views, and rally supporters. Atebe urged party members to stay united and disregard opposing voices that may seek to undermine their efforts.

At the same time, the North Mugirango aspirant called for renewed grassroots mobilisation, encouraging supporters to work collectively in strengthening party structures across the country.

He emphasised that Jubilee’s main focus remains on rebuilding its base, consolidating support, and preparing strategically for a competitive performance in the 2027 polls.
