No Respect for Those Who Attack Our Kingpin — Kasalu Fires at Leaders Targeting Kalonzo

Kitui County Women Representative Hon. Dr. Irene Kasalu has launched a powerful defense of Wiper Party Leader Kalonzo Musyoka, warning that any leader who insults him “does not deserve even a single ounce of respect” from the Kamba Nation.
Her remarks follow the President’s recent three-day tour of Ukambani.
A tour she says “focused more on attacking Kalonzo than addressing real development.”

Dr. Kasalu expressed deep disappointment, saying the region expected solid development commitments.
Instead, she said the people were treated to constant jabs targeting their long-serving political kingpin.
She warned that such behavior weakens national unity and paints leadership in poor light.

According to Dr. Kasalu, Kalonzo Musyoka is not just a community leader but a national statesman.
She emphasized that he is a unifying force and the most prepared, experienced, and trusted figure to lead Kenya next.
She declared that “Kalonzo Musyoka is the next President of the Republic of Kenya.”

The Women Representative faulted the President for ignoring urgent development priorities during his visit.
She cited water scarcity, insecurity in Mutha, stalled projects like the Enziu River bridge and poor road conditions.
Kasalu argued that these should have taken precedence over political attacks.

Dr. Kasalu said Ukambani will no longer entertain leaders who use development tours to belittle their own.
She urged national leaders to show maturity, focus, and respect when addressing the region.
She added that true development cannot be anchored on insults and arrogance.

Local leaders, youth and elders supported her position, saying the community is politically awake and united.
They affirmed that Kalonzo Musyoka remains the region’s undisputed political pillar and a symbol of national stability.
They believe Kenya needs his calm, experience, and diplomacy now more than ever.

As the 2027 race shapes up, Dr. Kasalu said Ukambani is solidly behind Kalonzo’s presidential bid.
She insisted the days of silent tolerance are gone.
Ukambani, she added, will stand with leaders who honor its people—and reject those who insult their future President.
