Principal Secretary for Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET), Dr. Esther Muoria, has encouraged parents to enroll their children in technical colleges, noting that the government is investing heavily in skills development to boost youth employment.
Speaking on Saturday at Kangaru Boys High School in Embu during a public forum, Muoria said the Kenya Kwanza administration is committed to creating opportunities for young people by equipping them with practical skills demanded in the job market.
“We are doing a lot as a government to secure job opportunities for the youth across the country. Technical and vocational skills are the future, and I urge parents to take their children to technical colleges so they can be empowered,” she said.
The PS also rallied residents to support President William Ruto’s administration, emphasizing that its policies are focused on empowering communities through education, training, and development initiatives.
