Tusker Oktobafest continued its nationwide celebration of Kenyan beer, music, and culture this past weekend, delivering vibrant experiences in Mombasa and Nanyuki on Saturday, November 1. The festival now builds momentum toward its much-anticipated grand finale in Kisumu on November 8.
In Mombasa, an overwhelming crowd gathered at the iconic New Big Tree in Bamburi to enjoy an unforgettable coastal celebration. The lineup featured rap heavyweight Khaligraph Jones, Ndovu Kuu, Tipsy Gee, and Mombasa’s own Honest Blind Boy, supported by DJs Benitez, Mostwanted, Issa Platinum, MC Gogo, and DJ Daffy. Attendees enjoyed a fusion of live music, dance, local cuisine, interactive brand activations, and refreshing beers — all against a stunning beachside backdrop. The night peaked with Khaligraph’s high-energy performance and a surprise birthday celebration for MC Gogo.

Meanwhile, in Nanyuki, beer enthusiasts converged at Stingers Lounge for a night of equally memorable performances. The event featured artists Toxic Lyrikali, Ayrosh, Wanjine, and Njerae, alongside DJs Abby, Deewiz, Tibz, Grauchi, Kaneda, and resident DJ Doubleblack. Hosted by MCs Azeezah Hashim and Kibunja, the event maintained electrifying energy from DJ Abby’s opening set through the evening’s closing act. Despite a light rain, the crowd remained spirited — with Njerae’s soulful hits captivating the audience and Toxic Lyrikali’s performance sparking a crowd-wide sing-along before DJ Grauchi closed the night with a legendary set.
These successful events in Mombasa and Nanyuki — following earlier editions in Nairobi and Eldoret — reaffirm Tusker’s commitment to celebrating Kenyan beer and culture while connecting with consumers across the country.
> “The recent editions of Tusker Oktobafest in Mombasa and Nanyuki truly captured the vibrant spirit of each community. The nationwide festival will culminate with the “Lake Edition” on Saturday, November 8, at Atella Beach Resort, Kisumu. The finale promises an exciting entertainment lineup and immersive beer experiences tailored to the region. Tickets will be available at the venue for KES 1,000, redeemable for five bottles of Tusker Lager, Pilsner, or Balozi, or four bottles of Whitecap, Manyatta, Tusker Cider, Tusker Malt, Tusker Lite, or Guinness.
