President William Ruto has emphasized the robust diplomatic relations between Kenya and Sierra Leone, founded on mutual respect and a shared commitment to pan-Africanism and regional stability.
During a farewell meeting at State House Nairobi with Sierra Leone’s High Commissioner to Kenya, Isatu Aminata Bundu, who has completed her tour of duty, President Ruto acknowledged the longstanding ties between the two nations.
He expressed gratitude for the High Commissioner’s efforts in strengthening bilateral cooperation during her tenure.
“Kenya and Sierra Leone have a strong bond that has been reinforced by our mutual dedication to regional stability and collaboration,” President Ruto stated. He highlighted ongoing discussions between the two countries to explore further opportunities for cooperation in various sectors, including agriculture, education, and tourism.
As High Commissioner Bundu prepares to depart, President Ruto extended his best wishes for her future endeavors and reiterated Kenya’s commitment to enhancing the partnership with Sierra Leone.
