MMTC and Vishwakarma University Launch East Africa–India Education Pathway

Macmillan Medical Training College (MMTC) has signed a landmark partnership with Vishwakarma University (VU), creating a structured academic pathway for East African students to pursue higher education in India.

The agreement positions MMTC as Vishwakarma University’s exclusive recruitment and academic advisory partner in Kenya and across the East African region. It establishes a clear progression route for students to advance from diploma and certificate programmes into internationally recognized Bachelor’s degrees, Master’s programmes, and PhD studies.

Expanding Access to Global Education
Under the partnership, students from countries including Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Rwanda, Burundi, and South Sudan will benefit from a streamlined system that includes:
Direct access to undergraduate and postgraduate programmes, Simplified admissions and pre-screening processes, Academic mentorship and career guidance, Local counselling and preparation support before transitioning to India.

This model aims to eliminate common barriers faced when applying to international universities by providing a reliable, institution-led pathway.

Speaking at the signing, MMTC Principal Sarah Oganda described the deal as transformative:
