My OneApp is the new M-PESA App!
It brings together features from the M-PESA and MySafaricom apps into one easy-to-use app.

Why was My OneApp created?

To give Safaricom customers one seamless app for:

  • M-PESA services
  • Safaricom (GSM) services
    All in one place – no more switching between multiple apps.

Who can use My OneApp?

My OneApp is available to:

  • Safaricom customers on Android & iPhone
  • M-PESA customers
  • Safaricom (GSM-only) customers (not registered for M-PESA)

How do I download or update to My OneApp?

  1. Open Play Store (Android) or App Store (iOS)
  2. Search My OneApp
  3. Tap Download or Update
  4. Log in with your M-PESA PIN
  5. Confirm with OTP
  6. Set up Biometrics
  7. View the quick app tutorial on first login

Any tips for a smooth sign-up?

✅ Ensure your Safaricom SIM is inserted & set as default
✅ Turn on mobile data (Wi‑Fi won’t work during sign-up). This is only required for first-time sign-in

Can I install My OneApp while roaming?

Yes!
Just make sure:

  • Your Safaricom SIM is inserted and set as Primary SIM
  • Roaming is activated on your line and you have a roaming bundle

Will the old M-PESA or MySafaricom apps still work?

Yes, for now.
The M-PESA, MySafaricom and Home Fibre apps will remain available but will be discontinued later (date to be announced).

 

What if I’m not registered on M-PESA?

  • Registered M-PESA users: Get full access to all features
  • Not registered: Access Safaricom (GSM) services only

What happens to MySafaricom & M-PESA apps after I update?

Once you update to My OneApp, you’ll enjoy all services in one place.
The older apps will still exist temporarily but will be phased out later.
