STEAM Powers Kenya Forward as “Jibambe na STEAM” Campaign Ends in Big Wins and National Recognition

Kenafric Beverages and Bottling Limited has officially concluded its nationwide “Jibambe na STEAM” campaign, rewarding loyal consumers and reinforcing STEAM’s position as Kenya’s Most Preferred Energy Drink.

Running through the festive season into the New Year, the promotion turned everyday purchases into winning moments. Consumers who bought STEAM Energy Drink stood a chance to win weekly shopping vouchers and high-value electronics through a simple “Buy, Scan and Win” mechanic. The response was strong, reflecting the brand’s growing footprint in Kenya’s competitive energy drink market.

The campaign climaxed on Valentine’s Day at Greenspan Mall in Nairobi, where grand prize winners were awarded in a lively ceremony. Shabir Rashid from Mtwapa won a 55-inch Smart TV, Edwin Reuben Chomba from Nairobi walked away with a powerful subwoofer, and Mohamed Mgandi Ndura from Nyali received a brand-new smartphone.

For the winners, the experience was both surprising and meaningful.

“I thought the call was a joke. My children are very excited about the TV, and it means a lot to us,” said Shabir Rashid.

Edwin Chomba described the win as “a great way to start the year,” while university student Mohamed Ndura said the smartphone would make a real difference in his daily life.

The promotion builds on a strong year for STEAM. At the Kenya Beverage Excellence Awards 2025, the brand was named Most Preferred Energy Drink in Kenya. STEAM Recharge also won Most Preferred New Beverage Concept, while the “Power Up Game On” campaign was recognised as First Runner-Up for Best Marketing Campaign of the Year. Kenafric Beverages and Bottling Limited was named Runner-Up Manufacturer of the Year.
