  • Tusker Oktobafest Wraps Up Nationwide Tour with a Spectacular Grand Finale in Kisumu

The nationwide tour of Kenya’s ultimate beer and culture festival, Tusker Oktobafest, culminated in a show-stopping grand finale this past Saturday, November 8th, as thousands of revellers converged at Attela Beach Resort, Kisumu, for aunforgettable night of music, beer, and culture. The Lake Edition brought the curtain down on a successful regional circuit that included Nairobi, Eldoret, Mombasa, and Nanyuki.

The lakeside venue was transformed into a vibrant celebration of Kenyan pride, featuring an all-star entertainment lineup. Live performances by Bensoul, Fathermoh, and Harry Craze kept the crowd on their feet, while top DJs Gordo, Ves, Daffy, and Dimore delivered high-energy sets that carried the party late into the night. The event was hosted by crowd favourites MC Gogo and Kisumu’s own Hype Amollo, ensuring a thrilling close to the six-week tour.

MC Gogo kicked off the night with an electrifying performance that instantly lit up the crowd. Harry Craze followed with an energetic set before a surprise appearance by Fathermoh, which sent fans into a frenzy as the duo performed their chart-topping collaborations. The festival closed on a soulful and uplifting note with Bensoul’s captivating final performance, perfectly rounding off a night to remember.

The vibrant fusion of great beer, homegrown music, and an enthusiastic audience reaffirmed Tusker Oktobafest’s position as East Africa’s premier beer and culture festival.

Commenting on the success of the grand finale, Brigid Wambua, Senior Brand Manager for Tusker, said:

> “We set out to reach as many consumers as possible with the Oktobafest experience this year—and we have successfully done that. Oktobafest exists to provide a platform for the celebration of Kenyan beer and culture every year. We’ve enjoyed the enthusiasm and support of our consumers and partners across the regions, and Kisumu has delivered a truly exceptional finale to our nationwide festival.”

Launched in September, the sixth annual edition of Tusker Oktobafest expanded its reach across Kenya, offering authentic local experiences that celebrated the country’s beer heritage and cultural pride. The regional editions included:

Nairobi Edition: October 4th at Carnivore Grounds

Rift Edition: October 11th at Baniyas, Eldoret

Coast Edition: November 1st at Big Tree, Mombasa
