The Singleton, a premium single malt whisky celebrated for its smooth and refined character, joined the Nairobi Supper Club in marking its fifth anniversary at The Lake House in Tigoni. The milestone celebration brought together food and whisky enthusiasts for a superhero-themed gastronomic experience.
“The Supper Club has been an incredible platform that allows consumers to experience The Singleton and connect more deeply with the brand,” said Simon Lapyem, The Singleton Brand Manager. “Through this partnership, we’ve been able to showcase the refined character and versatility of this single malt in unique and creative ways. Seeing food lovers come together to celebrate flavour and craft has been truly special, and we look forward to continuing this journey with the Supper Club.”
The highlight of the evening was a culinary experience curated by Chef Milan Waheehang, whose menu was paired with two bespoke serves featuring The Singleton 12-Year-Old, known for its fruity notes, hints of toffee, and smooth finish.
The Vegan Sawa, a citrus-forward serve, complemented the whisky’s orchard fruit character with fresh lime juice and aquafaba, resulting in a silky, well-balanced drink. Meanwhile, the Chai Punch highlighted the depth of The Singleton 12 by blending it with black tea, spices, and coconut water, creating a layered, aromatic experience that reflected The Singleton’s refined taste and Dufftown charm.
As part of the celebration, Reserve Brand Ambassador Paul Gachoi led an engaging brand education session, guiding guests through The Singleton’s variants, explaining their tasting notes, and sharing pairing tips to deepen their appreciation of the whisky.
The Singleton continues to cement its place within Kenya’s cultural scene by delivering premium experiences that celebrate flavour and craftsmanship. The brand remains committed to partnering with platforms like the Supper Club, which embody the refined character and artistry of a true single malt whisky.
