Safaricom (NSE: SCOM)<\/a>, in partnership with the Nairobi Securities Exchange (NSE), has launched Ziidi Trader, a new platform on the M-PESA app that enables Kenyans to buy and sell listed shares on the NSE directly from their mobile phones.<\/p>\n

The launch represents a significant step in expanding access to capital markets, leveraging M-PESA\u2019s scale to bring investing closer to millions of Kenyans through a secure and easy to use mobile experience.<\/p>\n

Ziidi Trader operates under the oversight of the Capital Markets Authority, ensuring investor protection, transparency and market integrity, while supporting informed long\u2011term investing through clear disclosures and investor education.<\/p>\n

Safaricom began this journey with Ziidi MMF, which encouraged disciplined saving and investment, followed by Ziidi Shariah, offering inclusive, Shariah\u2011compliant options.<\/p>\n
