The Nairobi City County Government has announced the completion of significant upgrades to Pheroz\/Tononoka Road in Embakasi West and Wamco Road in Lang\u2019ata, furthering its commitment to enhancing infrastructure and mobility across the city. The projects, executed under the Ward Development Programme, aim to improve accessibility and support local economic activities in the respective Sub-Counties.<\/p>\n
Eng. Eston Kimathi, CEO of the Ward Development Programme, emphasized the County’s focus on delivering high-quality infrastructure. \u201cWe are intentional about delivering quality road infrastructure that improves accessibility and eases movement for residents,\u201d Kimathi stated. \u201cThese projects are a testament to the County\u2019s commitment to quality and efficiency in service delivery.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
The completed works involved comprehensive upgrades designed to create modern, durable, and fully motorable roadways. The construction focused on enhancing accessibility, improving road safety, and installing robust drainage systems, addressing perennial challenges faced by residents, particularly during the rainy season.<\/p>\n
The developments have been warmly received by residents in Mowlem Ward (Embakasi West) and South C (Lang\u2019ata), who noted that the new roads have significantly improved access and eased daily movement within their neighbourhoods.<\/p>\n
These road upgrades align directly with H.E.
