Kitui women representative Dr. Irene Kasalu has once again affirmed her position as a leading political force in the County.<\/a><\/p>\n

This is after she topped an online opinion poll as the most preferred gubernatorial candidate ahead of the 2027 general elections.<\/p>\n

She is a staunch supporter of Wiper party as well as a close ally to former vice president Kalonzo Musyoka.<\/p>\n

In a poll conducted online ,she got 778 votes \u2014 representing 61% of the total ballots cast.<\/p>\n

Dr. Kasalu outshone her closest rival, Kitui Senator Hon. Enoch Kiio Wambua, who secured 524 votes.<\/p>\n

Hon. Makali Mulu followed with 128 votes.<\/p>\n
