{"id":3295,"date":"2025-01-19T12:24:58","date_gmt":"2025-01-19T12:24:58","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/thenewsroomhub.co.ke\/?p=3295"},"modified":"2025-01-19T12:24:58","modified_gmt":"2025-01-19T12:24:58","slug":"mudavadi-dont-blame-ruto-for-delays-in-constituting-iebc","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/thenewsroomhub.co.ke\/index.php\/2025\/01\/19\/mudavadi-dont-blame-ruto-for-delays-in-constituting-iebc\/","title":{"rendered":"Mudavadi: Don\u2019t blame Ruto for delays in constituting IEBC"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Prime Cabinet Secretary Musalia Mudavadi has said President William Ruto should not be blamed for the delays in constituting the electoral agency.<\/p>\n<p>Mudavadi said individuals who have gone to court over the constitution of the IEBC should take full blame for the delays in having the electoral agency in place.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cPeople are talking and the things they are saying are not true. They are saying the President is the one behind the delays,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>Speaking in Cheptais in Bungoma County during an interdenominational prayer service, Mudavadi said those in court should withdraw their cases.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThere are those who went to court and it is not Ruto\u2019s administration. The President is a person who cannot break the law.
